Programs and Services

Every child’s journey is unique, and so is our approach. We combine science, compassion, and collaboration to help children learn, thrive, and live meaningful lives.

Growth & Learning Programs

Personalized Care for Every Learner

At PIECES, we understand that every learner’s journey is unique. Each child brings their own strengths, challenges, and story, and we believe those differences deserve a personalized approach that celebrates who they are.

Science-Driven, Compassionate Approach

Our Growth & Learning Programs are grounded in the science of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and guided by cultural sensitivity. We design individualized plans that meet children and families where they are, focusing on goals that are meaningful and achievable for every learner.

Building Confidence and Independence

From early communication and play to academic readiness and essential life skills, our programs help children build confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.

Bright Start Program

“Laying the foundation for communication, play, and school readiness.”

Who it’s for: For children 18 months to 8 years, even without a formal diagnosis.

We welcome children as young as 18 months—even those without a formal diagnosis. Bright Start builds early communication, social interaction, and foundational learning skills through play-based, data-driven teaching, giving every child the strongest start possible.
Each learner receives one-on-one sessions with a trained instructor, while a Behavior Analyst oversees assessment, individualized planning, monthly updates, and re-assessments—ensuring meaningful and steady progress every step of the way.

Academic Growth Program

“Unlocking the joy of learning through structured teaching.”

Who it’s for: For children 6 years old entering elementary school.

Skills for Life Program

“Fostering independence and meaningful participation.”

Who it’s for: For children 10 years and above.

Created for learners 8 years and older, this program develops essential daily living, self-help, and community involvement skills. It is offered to continuing learners from our Bright Start Program or former PIECES learners. With individualized goals and culturally sensitive teaching, we prepare learners for life beyond the classroom.

Family & Professional Support Services

Families at the Heart of Growth

At PIECES, we believe that families are at the heart of every learner’s success. Parents and caregivers play an essential role in shaping a child’s growth, and we’re here to support them every step of the way. Our team values open communication and collaboration, ensuring families feel heard, understood, and empowered to be active partners in their child’s journey.

Guidance Grounded in Science

Our Family & Professional Support Services provide parents with practical, evidence-based tools and strategies to support learning and behavior, whether at home, in school, or in the community.

Empowering Every Step of the Way

Whether you’re beginning your journey or seeking expert guidance, PIECES is here to help you build confidence, understanding, and connection as your child grows.

Parent Training

The first step in building meaningful and lasting change begins with empowering parents. At PIECES, we believe that families are the most important partners in a child’s growth. Our parent training sessions are designed to help caregivers understand the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in clear and practical ways, so they can apply these strategies confidently in everyday situations.

Through guided sessions, parents learn how to encourage positive behaviors, teach new skills, and respond effectively to challenges at home and in the community. By equipping families with knowledge, tools, and ongoing support, we help them create nurturing environments where learning continues, turning daily routines into opportunities for growth and connection.

Consultation with a Behavior Analyst

Some families may not need a full program but still seek expert guidance to support their child’s growth. At PIECES, our consultation service provides parents with direct access to a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who listens, observes, and understands each family’s unique situation. These consultations offer a flexible and focused way to gain insights without the commitment of a structured program.

During each session, families receive personalized recommendations, practical strategies, and evidence-based solutions tailored to their child’s specific needs and goals. Whether you’re looking for guidance on behavior challenges, learning strategies, or everyday routines, our BCBA will help you create a clear, actionable plan that empowers both you and your child to make meaningful progress.

Telehealth Growth & Learning

For families who need flexible options or live outside our center, our Telehealth program brings PIECES’ quality care right into your home. Through this virtual service, parents and caregivers can access the same evidence-based approach and personalized guidance as our in-person programs, without the need to travel. It’s designed to make learning and support accessible no matter where you are.

In Telehealth, parents take an active role as their child’s primary teacher, with our team providing step-by-step coaching, regular check-ins, and continuous support. Each family receives individualized plans, monthly updates, and reassessments to monitor growth and adjust goals as needed. With the right tools and guidance, meaningful progress continues, proving that learning can thrive anywhere.
